Cognitive Psychology and the History of Racism

Анотація

The theme of this research is the history of the emergence and development of racism in modern society and the cognitive side of the psychology of this social phenomenon. The main purpose of this study is the cognition of the history of the occurrence of this phenomenon and the ways of its spread in Ancient times and nowadays. There were analyzed literary works and the works of many philosophers and scholars who raised issues of racial discrimination and the phenomenon of racism in society. Due to research and study of the problem, it was found that the cognitive psychology of racism depends on the genetic inheritance of man and the influence of society on the formation of habits in the period of the formation of a young person’s worldview. The origins of racism and the progress of the spread of racist theories and doctrines throughout the history of mankind were identified. The influence of social culture and youth radical organizations on the spread of racial teaching in modern society was revealed.
